Busy Lizzies at Simon Balle aims to provide an interesting, stimulating and safe environment where children are happy to express their creativity, enjoy positive respectful relationships, grow in self-confidence and delight in the joy of learning.
From the team who run the Ofsted rated OUTSTANDING settings Busy Lizzies Kids Club and Bengeo Playgroup and recently opened Busy Lizzies Preschool, we now introduce our latest setting.
Everything that we have learnt from our settings has been transferred to Busy Lizzies at Simon Balle including our amazing WOW! room.
The activities, planning and resources have been chosen with care. We have used our reflective practice from Bengeo Playgroup and Busy Lizzies Preschool to ensure we have the most popular resources, themes, topics and activities that will challenge the children in a fun way. We have lots of resources that are new including our light changing tablets and phonics small group WOW room.
We like to think that Busy Lizzies at Simon Balle is a home from home. Each child is allocated a Key Person who will bond with your child and plan interesting and educational activities. Our staff have over 60 years of Childcare experience between them and bring a wealth of knowledge working in various roles across their careers, including reception classes, forest and preschools.
Each year we add to our large range of resources to ensure that we offer a wealth of fun activities to entertain the children. We have a covered outside area and access to an enclosed Play ground which enables us to offer free flow play whatever the weather. There is a Forest School on site which we visit each week to pond dip and explore.
Your child can join Busy Lizzies at Simon Balle the September after he or she turns 3 and progress to reception. We hold a transition meeting with the reception teachers from Simon Balle and provide transition reports. Reception teachers from other schools are invited to our setting to meet their new children.
