Nursery – Year 2
Our afterschool club is a fun-filled club offering extended childcare within the Simon Balle setting. We offer 2 flexible pick up times: 4.45pm or 6pm. These times match in with the explorers after school times which is run by the school for class years 3-6.
Our staff will collect the children and escort them to Busy Lizzies. A snack is provided for everyone on arrival and we offer a cooked tea for those staying after 4.45pm.
ACTIVITIES AND RESOURCES
These include classic family based board games, cards and loom bands with adult supervision, all of Busy Lizzies Nursery resources, including our WOW room, arts and crafts, junk modeling, water wall, chalking, den making, bikes, trikes and scooters. Sports activities include football, hoops, running races and lots more. We also have the use of the astro turf on some days and the playground each day. We have a large permanent canopy enabling us to offer continuous outdoor play, whatever the weather.
Afterschool club is all about the child’s interests where a child can enjoy the experience at their pace. If children wish they can read their reading books to a staff member and we will write this in their reading record.
